Training Group

Service Description

The training group is designed for therapists interested in knowing more about themselves and how their unique life experiences and subjectivity affect and inform their clinical work. The group meets weekly and blends interpersonal therapy with case consultation. This frame allows members to gain a deeper understanding of their professional self. It offers depth and expansion to the training group members and everyone who sees them for therapy. When we engage openly in a training group we come into close contact with just how involved we are with the people we meet in our work. It is an active reminder of their humanity and our own.
